Upland Design Group (UDG) is offering an immediate and long-term career opportunity for an Architect and/or Architectural Associate with 5 plus years of experience.

A Project Architect / Manager will work directly with the Partner-In-Charge of each project and actively contribute to all phases of design, from programming through construction administration, as determined by P.I.C. and size of project.

OBJECTIVES

• Responsible for designing within and maintaining building cost estimates, established program, schedules.

• Provides design and technical input to the project through all design phases.

• Ensures that the project’s technical development carries out the established design intent.

• Establishes Life Safety approach of projects early in design and maintains appropriate code compliance.

• Maintains sustainable design standards and optimizes performance and overall value within the parameters of the project.

• Establishes major assemblies and products to be utilized in projects for constructability and conformity with overall cost parameters, program, schedule.

• Evaluates and generates detailing methodologies and ensures constructability of details.

• Reviews drawings and specifications and communicates frequently with entire project design team to ensure a consistently high quality of project deliverables in a timely manner.

qualifications

• Minimum Degree: Bachelor of Architecture or equivalent

• Minimum 5 years Architectural Experience

• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD

• Experience in Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat Software

• Sound written and verbal communication skills

• Motivated with desire to learn and grow
