The Crossville Fire Hall No. 3 project is currently under design. The project site is along Hwy 70 adjacent from the Holiday Hills community. The site design features drive thru access into the engine bays and proper solar orientation to maximize energy efficiency. The building features a three bay engine design that will include clerestory daylighting. Other amenities include a hose drying tower, a 50 person training room, individual bunk rooms and a spacious dayroom. The exterior appearance of the building resembles the traditional scale and vocabulary of early fire halls. The exterior of the building will be composed of metal roofing, brick and precast concrete accents which are all low maintenance materials that will reduce upkeep over the life of the building.
