The purpose of the report was to establish a Master Plan that best used the available campus features to accommodate the educational objectives at A.C. York Institute at a fifteen year horizon. In preparing the report, projected student enrollment was estimated from available data. Class curriculum; current and projected space needs; physical replacement of deteriorated spaces; and historical districts within the campus were taken under consideration when developing recommendations. Funding and estimated costs for renovations, additions, and new construction were considered with various options of varying costs. Urgent and immediate items for corrections with regards to life safety issues were noted. Green building opportunities were also noted throughout the feasibility report that could be integrated into future design considerations at various phases.
